Latter Day Prophesy
One third of the Scriptures
have to do with or about prophesy, and ninety percent of that is to do with
latter day prophesy.
Matthew 24
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the
temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of
the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all
these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone
upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 And as he
sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying,
Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy
coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered
and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that
ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end
is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and
earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the
beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to
be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my
names sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall
betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And
many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all
the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let
him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee
into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop
not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18
Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give
suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not
in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then
shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world
to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those
days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elects
sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man
shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it
not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false
prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were
possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I
have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto
you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the
secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the
lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall
also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever
the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened,
and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven,
and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then
shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the
tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the
clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he
shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is
yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know
that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I
say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be
fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my
words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour
knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming
of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were
before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in
marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the
coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the
field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two
women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the
other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour
your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman
of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have
watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of
man cometh. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant,
whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due
season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord
when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto
you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his
coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his
fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him,
and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut
him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there
shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Between verses twenty and twenty-one are two different time
periods.
Leviticus 26:26-29
26 And
when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in
one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye
shall eat, and not be satisfied.
27 And
if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then
I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you
seven times for your sins.
29 And
ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye
eat.
Deuteronomy 28:9-10
9 The
LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto
thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his
ways. 10
And all people of
the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they
shall be afraid of thee.
Deuteronomy 28:12
12 The
LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto
thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou
shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
Deuteronomy 28:27
27 The
LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with
the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.
Deuteronomy 28:35
35 The
LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that
cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.
Deuteronomy 28:43-44
43 The
stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and
thou shalt come down very low. 44 He
shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and
thou shalt be the tail.
Deuteronomy 28:49-50
49 The
LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth,
as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not
understand;
50 A
nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old,
nor shew favour to the young:
Deuteronomy 28:53
53 And
thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy
daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the
straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:
Isaiah 5:20-30
20 Woe
unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and
light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21
Woe unto them
that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22
Woe unto them
that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 Which
justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the
righteous from him!
24 Therefore
as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so
their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust:
because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the
word of the Holy One of Israel.
25 Therefore
is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched
forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble,
and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this
his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
26
And he will lift
up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of
the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
27 None
shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither
shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be
broken: 28
Whose arrows
are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses hoofs shall be counted
like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
29 Their
roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea,
they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away
safe, and none shall deliver it.
30 And
in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if
one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the
light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
Joel 2
1 Blow
ye the trumpet in
Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the
land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
2
A day of darkness
and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning
spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been
ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of
many generations.
3
A fire devoureth
before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden
of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing
shall escape them.
4 The
appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so
shall they run.
the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise
of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in
battle array.
6 Before
their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
7
They shall run
like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall
march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8 Neither
shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when
they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9 They
shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall
climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
10 The
earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon
shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
11 And
the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very
great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the
LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
12 Therefore
also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and
with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 And
rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for
he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and
repenteth him of the evil.
14 Who
knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him;
even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
15 Blow
the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
16 Gather
the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the
children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his
chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
17 Let
the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar,
and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to
reproach, that the heathen should rule over
them: wherefore should they say among the
people, Where is their God?
18 Then
will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
19 Yea,
the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn,
and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more
make you a reproach among the heathen:
20 But
I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him
into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his
hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill
savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
21
Fear not, O land;
be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
22
Be not afraid, ye beasts
of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree
beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
23 Be
glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath
given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you
the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
24
And the floors
shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 And
I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm,
and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 And
ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your
God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be
ashamed.
27 And
ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am
the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
28 And
it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon
all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall
dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And
also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my
spirit. 30
And I will shew
wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of
smoke. 31
The sun shall be
turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the
terrible day of the LORD come.
32 And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the
LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be
deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall
call.
Ezekiel 36:19-24
19 And
I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the
countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
20 And
when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy
name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are
gone forth out of his land.
21 But
I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among
the heathen, whither they went.
22 Therefore
say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this
for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy names sake, which ye
have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
23 And
I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye
have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am
the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their
eyes. 24
For I will take
you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will
bring you into your own land.
Ezekiel 37:1-13
1 The
hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD,
and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And
caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very
many in the open valley;
and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And
he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD,
thou knowest.
4 Again
he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones,
hear the word of the LORD.
5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into
you, and ye shall live:
6 And
I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you
with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I
am the LORD.
7 So
I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and
behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And
when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin
covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then
said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the
wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe
upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I
prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived,
and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Then
he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel:
behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off
for our parts.
12 Therefore
prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I
will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring
you into the land of Israel.
13 And
ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my
people, and brought you up out of your graves,
Now go back and read:
Isaiah 26:19-21
19 Thy
dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they
arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew
of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come,
my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide
thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For,
behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the
earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood,
and shall no more cover her slain.
Jeremiah 3:8
8 And
I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I
had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister
Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
1 Kings 11:1-3
1 But
king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh,
women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;
2
Of the nations
concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not
go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they
will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
3 And
he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his
wives turned away his heart.
1 Kings 11:11
11 Wherefore
the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast
not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will
surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
1 Kings 11:13
13 Howbeit
I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy
son for David my servants sake, and for Jerusalems sake which I have chosen.
1 Kings 11:31-32
31 And
he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of
Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will
give ten tribes to thee:
32 (But
he shall have one tribe for my servant Davids sake, and for Jerusalems sake,
the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)
1 Kings 12:17
17 But
as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of Judah,
Rehoboam reigned over them.
1 Kings 12:20-21
20 And
it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they
sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel:
there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.
21 And
when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with
the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which
were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom
again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.
The House of Israel was split at this time and was known as
the House of Israel and the House of Judah. Ten tribes to the north and two
tribes to the south and half of the Levites went with the northern Kingdom and
the other half went with the southern Kingdom.
1 Chronicles 17:9
9 Also
I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they
shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the
children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,
Hosea 1
1 The
word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah,
Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam
the son of Joash, king of Israel.
2 The
beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go,
take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land
hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
3 So
he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him
a son. 4
And the LORD said
unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will
avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease
the kingdom of the house of Israel.
5 And
it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the
valley of Jezreel.
6 And
she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call
her name Loruhamah:
for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly
take them away.
7 But
I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD
their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by
horses, nor by horsemen.
8 Now
when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.
9 Then
said God, Call his name Loammi:
for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
10
Yet the number of
the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be
measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place
where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it
shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
11
Then shall the
children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint
themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great
shall be the day of Jezreel.
Ezekiel 37:14-22
14 And
shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your
own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and
performed it, saith the LORD.
15 The
word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
16 Moreover,
thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for
the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon
it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel
his companions:
17 And
join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine
hand. 18
And when the
children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us
what thou meanest by these?
19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph,
which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows,
and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them
one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 And
the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of
Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on
every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And
I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one
king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither
shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
Revelation 20:1-9
1 And
I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and
a great chain in his hand.
2 And
he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan,
and bound him a thousand years,
3 And
cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him,
that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be
fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And
I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and
I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his
image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their
hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But
the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed
and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the
second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ,
and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And
when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And
shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the
earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom
is as the sand of the sea.
9 And
they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints
about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and
devoured them.
Ezekiel 38
1 And
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son
of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of
Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the
chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4 And
I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee
forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all
sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields,
all of them handling swords:
5 Persia,
Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6
Gomer, and all his
bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and
many people with thee.
7 Be
thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are
assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After
many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the
land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of
many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste:
but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of
them. 9
Thou shalt ascend
and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and
all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time
shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11
And thou shalt
say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are
at rest, that dwell safely,
all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12
To take a spoil,
and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are
now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the
nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the
land. 13
Sheba, and Dedan,
and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say
unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to
take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to
take a great spoil?
14 Therefore,
son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day
when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15 And
thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people
with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 And
thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land;
it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that
the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before
their eyes.
17 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my
servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many
years that I would bring thee against them?
18 And
it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of
Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19 For
in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in
that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 So
that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the
field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that
are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the
mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every
wall shall fall to the ground.
21 And
I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the
Lord GOD: every mans sword shall be against his brother.
22 And
I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon
him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an
overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 Thus
will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of
many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezekiel 39
1 Therefore,
thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
2 And
I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause
thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains
of Israel:
3 And
I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall
out of thy right hand.
4 Thou
shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the
people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of
every sort, and
to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 Thou
shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord
GOD. 6
And I will send a
fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they
shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So
will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will
not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know
that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Behold,
it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof
I have spoken.
9 And
they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire
and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the
arrows, and the handstaves,
and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
10
So that they shall
take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests;
for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that
spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
11 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place
there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the
sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall
they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley
of Hamongog.
12 And
seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may
cleanse the land.
13 Yea,
all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a
renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
14 And
they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to
bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to
cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
15
And the passengers
that pass through the land, when any seeth a mans bone, then
shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of
Hamongog.
16 And
also the name of the city shall be Hamonah.
Thus shall they cleanse the land.
17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and
to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves
on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great
sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink
blood. 18
Ye shall eat the
flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams,
of lambs, and of goats,
of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19 And
ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my
sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20 Thus
ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and
with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
21 And
I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my
judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
22 So
the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that
day and forward.
23 And
the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their
iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from
them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the
sword. 24
According to their
uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and
hid my face from them.
25 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and
have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy
name; 26
After that they
have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed
against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them
afraid. 27
When I have
brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies
lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
28 Then
shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be
led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own
land, and have left none of them any more there.
29 Neither
will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon
the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
Daniel 12
1 And
at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the
children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never
was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time
thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the
book. 2
And many of them
that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and
some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And
they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they
that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4
But thou, O
Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the
end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Then
I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of
the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6
And one
said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the
river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7
And I heard the
man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he
held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that
liveth for ever that it shall be for a time,
times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power
of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8
And I heard, but I
understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these
things?
9 And
he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed
till the time of the end.
10 Many
shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do
wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall
understand.
11 And
from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and
the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand
two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed
is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five
and thirty days.
13 But
go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy
lot at the end of the days.
Revelation 19
1 And
after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying,
Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
2 For
true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great
whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the
blood of his servants at her hand.
3 And
again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
4 And
the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God
that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
5 And
a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants,
and ye that fear him, both small and great.
6 And
I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many
waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord
God omnipotent reigneth.
7 Let
us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb
is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And
to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white:
for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And
he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the
marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings
of God. 10
And I fell at his
feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy
fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship
God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
11 And
I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was
called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His
eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns;
and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And
he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called
The Word of God.
14 And
the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed
in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And
out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the
nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the
winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And
he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS,
AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And
I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to
all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves
together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That
ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of
mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the
flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And
I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered
together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And
the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles
before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the
beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a
lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And
the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which
sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their
flesh.
Revelation 21
1 And
I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth
were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And
I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And
I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God
is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And
God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more
death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for
the former things are passed away.
5 And
he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said
unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And
he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life
freely. 7
He that overcometh
shall inherit all things;
and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But
the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and
whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their
part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second
death. 9
And there came
unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven
last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the
bride, the Lambs wife.
10 And
he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me
that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having
the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious,
even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 And
had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates
twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the
twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On
the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and
on the west three gates.
14 And
the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the
twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And
he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates
thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And
the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he
measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the
breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 And
he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four
cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18 And
the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was
pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And
the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner
of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second,
sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The
fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth,
beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth;
the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And
the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one
pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent
glass. 22
And I saw no
temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And
the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the
glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And
the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the
kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And
the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night
there. 26
And they shall
bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And
there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither
whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are
written in the Lambs book of life.
Isaiah 2:2-4
2 And
it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORDS
house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted
above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And
many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the
LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and
we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the
word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 And
he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall
beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks:
nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war
any more.
I hope that you have enjoyed this study as to what the
Scriptures say will happen in the latter days; not some ignorant preacher of
the "Lord" = Baal.
