Baptism
John 4:1-2
1 When therefore the Lord
knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples
than John, 2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his
disciples,)
John 19:34
34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced
his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
Acts 1:5
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye
shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
I Corinthians 1:17
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to
preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should
be made of none effect.
I Corinthians 6:9-11
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not
inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor
idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with
mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards,
nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye
are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
I Corinthians 10:1-2
1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye
should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all
passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto
Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
Ephesians 1:7
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Hebrews 6:1-6
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the
doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the
foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2
Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection
of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we
do, if God permit. 4 For it is impossible for
those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and
were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted
the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they
crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open
shame.
Hebrews 9:22
22 And almost all things are by the law purged
with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Hebrews 10:16-22
16 This is the covenant that I will make
with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their
hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And
their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18
Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the
holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living
way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his
flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the
house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in
full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience,
and our bodies washed with pure water.
Ezekiel 36:25
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you,
and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will
I cleanse you.
I Peter 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own
body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:
by whose stripes ye were healed.
Revelation 1:5
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the
faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of
the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in
his own blood,
Perhaps you will be able to see the word baptism in a new
light, and not be conformed to the church world. If baptism could save you;
then John the Baptist would have been sufficient, and there would have been no
need for Yahshua to have come for your redemption and salvation. Think about
these things.
