THE UNPARDONABLE SIN
Here are the passages in which Jesus warns against the unpardonable sin against the Holy Spirit.
Mark 3:28 "Truly, I say to you that all will be forgiven the sons of men, whatever sins and blasphemies they may blaspheme. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, he does not have forgiveness into the age, but is guilty of sin for the ages."
Luke 12:9 "But the one who denied me before men will be denied before the angels of God. And everyone who will say a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him. But the one having blasphemed against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven."
This article posits that the sin against God which cannot be forgiven is simply the rejection or denial of His Spirit which lives and works within each of us. If one rejects the Spirit of God from such indwelling, and thereby selects a religion of mindlessness, then one has cut his own umbilical cord which connects him to his Source. Once cut, it cant be repaired. Ones life will then consist of only three of the four natures: physical, emotional, and intellectual. But, he has rejected his spiritual nature, which is the only nature that lives beyond his temporal life. So, he has rejected the afterlife which is available to all of Gods Israelites who follow Jesus lead.
How does one reject the Living Spirit of God from himself? I think that you will be able to see how this is possible if you first understand who you are and how you relate to Him. Being different from other races, His true children are "born from above," meaning that they came from Spirit and not from flesh alone. We can consider our real selves to be Spirit Beings who are members of the Body of Christ, who have lived from before the World began and who will always live throughout ages to come. As Spirit Beings, we are born into flesh, but these temporary bodies are not our real homes, and we instinctively know that. As a Spirit Being, you are one of Gods OFFSPRING, through whom God lives and experiences life.
If you have read some of my other writings, you know that I discuss as fact the idea that there is no such thing as a particle of matter, but that the reality which you perceive before you is something that exists only in your mind. God created the kosmos by THOUGHT, namely His Word, His Offspring Christ/Son. Christ then brings Gods thought-design into manifestation (perception) by believing in it (faith). The grand stage play in which you are a player is a Mind Game, first in Gods Mind, then produced into your mind by the creative Word. There is nothing but Mind! The power of Mind is Gods Spirit. You are a Spirit Offspring of your Spirit Father. The world before you is nothing more than a dream which you believe to be "real." You are one with Jesus and one with your Source in spirit, namely in that which we call the Holy Spirit. There is your connection, and the power of your existence. As a Spirit of God, you are one of His creative dreamers, in that your perception of world exists only because you believe it to exist. You create what you perceive. Your creation includes a world of vegetation, trees, sky, the sun, moon, and stars, and many creatures, both tiny and large, and other human types also. None of the creatures whom you perceive have afterlife, including other races. They are the theria (Greek word) of the Genesis account. You believe them into being, and as such they symbolize aspects of your own beliefs. For instance, if you believe Satans deception that your world is material and finite and that you are but one more organism like all the others, then that is what you believe into being. So, that explains why we have the wicked world of today; we have bought into Satans great lie, and we are missing the Truth. Satan is the liar, and Christ is the Truth. Two opponents in contest.
You see, you are much greater than you ever knew. Well, you might see that truth if you are capable of receiving it. If you are seeking Truth, namely to discover the lie, to overcome it, and to return to spiritual union with the Body of Christ and with your eternal Father, then you are fulfilling the purpose of your destiny. Certainly, the only ones who can see the Father in Truth are His Spirit Being Offspring, the creators and perceivers of what-is. All other creatures who are not born of Spirit are mere figments of your dream, and it is not possible for them to see the Father in Truth, or even to understand Truth. Jesus says He is the Truth. The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Truth.
The Truth versus the lie. Negative versus positive. Good versus evil. Christ versus Satan. Gods Divine Pageant on His Mind-stage is a contest between the two polar opposites. You are one of Gods warriors in the contest. You charge forth into this contest with the mighty power of Truth. Ultimately only one can win, either the lie of this world reality or the Truth of God. Your opponents, who express the lie, do not often fight you with swords but more effectively with enticements. They make the world seem attractive, luxurious, sensational, gratifying, stupefying, thrilling, lust-satisfying, colorful, pleasurable, tasteful, (Im sure you can think of many more ways the world attracts you). If you succumb to the enjoyment of world life, you have traitorously joined the enemy and you have become one with the lie. You are a traitor who doesnt want to seek Truth, and who blocks any attempts to present it to you. You have blasphemed against your Father and denied the Truth of your Spirit-self, in order to live as a creature rather than as a creator. You have not merely sinned in a way that God will remember no more, but you have cut the umbilical cord between your flesh-person and the Spirit Being who was the real you until you made the separation. That separation is not something that can be repaired or forgiven or reconnected; it is permanent. You cant get back. You have broken the connection between you and God, irreparably. It isnt that God chooses to withhold forgiveness for this one bad thing you did, but rather that you jumped-ship by your own choice and you are no longer available with your Spirit-family (Body of Christ) to be forgiven. Lost!
Oh, what have so many done? Or, do you think the above proposition is too severe? Listen to this powerful passage from 2 Thess. 2:9-12 "whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood and with every deception of unrighteousness for the ones being destroyed, because they rejected the love of Truth by which they would be saved. Therefore God sends to them a powerful delusion for them to believe the falsehood, that all those not believing the Truth, but having had pleasure in unrighteousness may be judged."
They rejected the very instinct with which they were born, to SEEK the Truth whereby they might do contest against the lie. To REJECT THAT LOVE FOR TRUTH is to reject Jesus, who called Himself the Truth, and it is also rejecting the Holy Spirit who is called the Spirit of Truth. And note that it isnt so much the Truth itself that was rejected, but "the love of" Truth. In other words, one rejected that driving force within him, namely the Spirit of God which empowered him toward it.
How can such a fatal thing happen to a person? Well, here is one way in which it can easily happen. He turns to religion! He accepts a preacher as an authority because the guy shouts that he has the truth, and there is no other. The preacher doesnt encourage anyone to seek and question and study and ponder what the Truth is, but rather teaches that one can simply believe in Jesus name and he will go to heaven. He provides a comfortable opiate that numbs the mind and makes one content that God loves him and wants him to have all the good things of life and that if he comes to church regularly and tithes, then he can have wealth in this world and go to heaven when he dies. The preacher will never preach about the New Covenant contract, which Jesus secured (see Hebrews 8), which outlaws teachers, leaving a person alone with God who promises to put His laws into ones mind and to write them on his heart, and to be his God. Only the Spirit of God can be ones teacher. You should not trust a preacher or any other person, including myself, to decide for you what Truth is. It is your responsibility to seek out the Truth. You might benefit from the writings and discussions of many other people to provide you with ideas. But, the acceptance of any idea for your own belief is something between you and Gods Spirit who works within you. Everything Ive written might be wrong! You must be skeptical. Think for yourself, trusting God to be with you. Only then should you adopt a belief.
Religion is an opiate that numbs the mind and leaves you resting peacefully rather than encouraging you to step forth as a warrior. Religion tells you that Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Jesus tells you, "Dont think that I came to bring peace; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Religion tells you that Satans race of lying Edomite Jews is the true chosen race of Israel; in other words, religion has you supporting Christs eternal enemy. Religion tells you that you are no better than any other race, and that all are equal in Gods eyes. Jesus told the Edomite Jews that God is not their father, but their father is the devil. Religion lies! Even though historical records reveal the twelve tribes of Israel migrating into northern Europe where our white race nations still fly the tribal emblems, religion just turns its face from that truth in order to teach you the opposite. Religion is Satans most powerful tool against Christs sheep. Religion encourages you to "reject the love of Truth" and to join the opponent team of this world by believing the lie which creates it.
While many intelligent thinkers reject religion because it conflicts with the Bible, or because they recognize the scam, and go their way in the world without the church, many or most of them still ponder spiritual matters and read the Bible and believe in God. They think for themselves, and by rejecting the church they have rejected promoters of the lie, while seeking Truth through other means. They have not rejected Gods Spirit, so have not committed the unpardonable sin. Rather, the doomed ones are those religionists who refuse to seek the Truth, or even to consider any idea which conflicts with the falsehoods they have adopted for themselves. It seems very likely that they cannot be called back. Their minds are too closed and cannot receive Truth because God has blinded them with a powerful delusion. They have blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, and cut their umbilical to the Father, and they can never again receive the Truth. To confront such religionists with this thesis, that they are in danger, is to get the reply that their denomination already has the truth, so there is no problem. It is not problematic that many of their beliefs directly contradict statements of Jesus, or that they choose peace rather than to follow the Jesus with a sword. Their minds are numb and they will get angry at you for assaulting their treasured religion.
That pretty much sums up this article. For your interest, I will provide a few pertinent Bible passages, and a couple definitions of the word blasphemy below.
John 4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and Truth."
John 8:32 Jesus said, "if you remain in my Word, you are truly my disciples and you will know the Truth, and the Truth will free you."
John 8:44 "You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and has not stood in Truth because Truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks of his own things because he is a liar and the father of it. But because I speak the Truth you do not believe me."
John 14:6 "Jesus says to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:17 "If you love me, you will keep my commands; And I will ask the Father and He will give you another encourager (paraclete = Holy Spirit), that He may be with you into the age, the Spirit of Truth, which the world is not able to receive because it does not see it because it remains with you and will be in you."
John 15:26 "When the encourager (paraclete = Holy Spirit) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth, which proceeds from the Father, He will testify about me, and you also testify because you are with Me from the beginning."
John 16:13 "But when that one has come, the Spirit of Truth, He will guide you in every Truth;"
John 18:37 "Pilate said to Him, So, are you a king? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. For this purpose I have been born and for this have come into the world, that I might testify to the Truth; everyone who is of the Truth hears my voice. Pilate says to him, what is truth?"
These passages make pretty clear that the Spirit of Truth is Gods Holy Spirit. And Jesus also identifies Himself with Truth. A religionist who rejects that love of seeking for ultimate Truth has neither Jesus nor the indwelling Holy Spirit!
English Dictionary Definition
: blas-pheme, I. Ordinary Language: 1. To utter profane language against God or against anything sacred; by word of mouth to arrogate his prerogatives; or grossly to disobey his commands. 2. To utter injurious, highly insulting, calumnious, or slanderous language against a person in high authority, especially against a king, who may be looked on as, in certain respects, the viceregent of God. (Universal Dict. of the English Language; Peter Fenelon Collier, Publisher, New York, 1897. Vol. 1, p. 588)Definition of Greek
blasphemy from Kittels Theological Dictionary of the New Testament, vol. 1, p. 621. Excerpts of definitions as from Greek Literature, the Septuagint, and the New Testament. "means blasphemy of the deity by mistaking its true nature or violating or doubting its power." and "always refers finally to God, whether in the sense of disputing of His saving power, the desecrating of His name by the Gentiles who capture and enslave His people, the violation of His glory by derision of the mountains of Israel and His people, all ungodly speech and action." and "violation of the power and majesty of God. Blasphemy may be directed immediately against God, against the name of God, against the Word of God." . . . C.; 3. "But the Christian, too, is in danger of giving cause for blasphemy. Denial of Christ in persecution would be such. Hence Paul can say of his activity as a persecutor: I was forcing them to blaspheme. . ." (Acts 26:11) Even in partaking of idol meats Christians in bondage could see blasphemy (I Cor. 10:30), as distinct from Paul. Violation of the obligation of love even in such matters (Rom 14:16) could expose to scandal. False teaching is blasphemy when it perverts from the way of truth (2 Pet 2:2; Rom 3:8). The blasphemy does not have to find verbal expression. Any bad or unloving action can contain it, either because it resists the holy will of God or because it causes the enemies of Christianity to calumniate it. (I Tm 6:1; Jm 2:7; R. 2:24; Tt 2:5). The basis is clearly set out in 2 Clement 13: 2-4."
