Our People Are Stressed To The Limit. Why? The western industrialized countries are in the mdist of what nearly all of their respective governments, along with their “chosen” economists, call the era of prosperity. Almost everyone who wants to work has a job. Most of thse jobs are adequate to meet their family’s physical needs. Many families puchase new automobiles every two or three years.

Recreation is at an all-time high. Recreational vehicles, mobile homes, boats,a nd jet skis are selling as fast as they can be built. Most every thow of any size has at least one golf course. Now, the current rage is day trading on the internet using family retirement money to buy hi-tech stock. This is done with a frenzy as though there is no tomorrow. All of this is the glitter which the entire media portrays in unison “We never had it so good,” they say.

With tese “good times” the Freudian charade called psychiatry is treating ever increasing patients with anti-depressant drugs such as Prozac. Depression has become so common that there has been a 350% increase since the 1970s. That number is increasing by 6 percent a year. Studies show that most people now realize that they ahve lost their sense of personal standards. A lower standard of morality is being forced upon them. From the Philosophically Speaking newsletter (POB 1000, Selma, OR, 97538) we find this passage regarding this rampant depression. “Something has stolen our peace of mind and from dark political shadows has caused a slow, steady psychosis we all feel but cannot identify.”

It has been said many times that if we don’t learn from history we will surely repeat it.

“Study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you. That ye may walk nhonestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.” (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12)

Western man, the people of the Bible, in the past have always beleived those verses and have tried to act accordingly. The single most important reason for our depression is that we do nto genuinely have anythign to show for our efforts. We can not go to bed at night knowing in our hearts that we have worked hard and diligently all day producing somethign tangible with our own mind, heart and hands.

God in all of His infinite goodness, mercy and omnipotence also gave to Western man a creative mind. Unless those creative minds can have their hands busy along with that creative mind, despression can be the result. Many of our creative minds are forced to remain int hier office doing their work, just to have the machine, or whatever it is they designed, turned over to another department and the end result is a “Rube-Goldbert.” The decision of what that otherwise great design finally looks like was made in the corporate board-room.

In other words the creativeness of the minds of the Western man is being constantly stolen by the Jews and turned into profit for them, and the one who created the thing gets nothing for his labors, except a paycheck, where the government steals 75-80% through direct and hidden taxes. (WM)

Another factor which we must consider is this: “Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.” (Deutereonomy 24:14) “Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour, but shalt fear thy God.” (Leviticus 25:43)

Making merchandise out of labor is sinful. We will give an example of this principle. If a contractor hires a worker for ten dollars per hour, then charges fourteen dollars per hour to the job, then adds ten or twenty percent of the labor wages to the final charges for the job, that is making merchandise out of that labor. An honest profit above all costs, materials and labor, is biblical but one should not merchandise labor itself.

Historically, in all of the countries of western man there have existed two basic concepts of lifestyle and the associated economies. One is the self sufficient family and community where each individual is reponsible for his own actions, takes pride in those actions and personal morals are of the utmost importance (we will call that System Number One). The individual and community violently counters any intrusion on that peaceful system.

The second concept (we will call it System Number Two) is the exploitation of another man’s efforts. The ends justifies the means and it is normal and right to commit usury and exploit another person for gain. It is perfectly acceptable in such a system to replace one worker with another if more gain or profit is to be realized. The examples of this method of merchandising labor abounds. An employee today does not know whether he will have his job next week or not. Ejmployees work for 28-29 years for a corporation, only to be relieved of their jobs a short two years fromj retirejent age. The examjples are endless.

During the early eyars of our country, called the “golden years,” farmers and other businesses would pay the ship passage for young men and women to come to work on their farm or in their shop. Etc. That was not merchandising labor. It was a form of apprenticeship. These young people became a part of the family. They were clothed and fed, along with being schooled. Whenever any method other than that was observed, the perpetrators were corrected. The Biblical principle is found in Proverbs 29:21,

“He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him becmoe his son at the length.”

Tha happened in the late 1600s and 1700s in the family of this writer. Those young indentured servatns became successful in their own right when their agreements were completed. The concept of “indentured servants” came from Central Europe (Germany, Holland, France, etc.) Again, this system did not make merchandise of labor. Although many were slave many were not considered as such.

After the epochs of William the Conqueror and Oliver Cromwell, England was entirely different than it was before. Prior to these two men, old Saxon england resempled System Number One. England became an entirely different nation and resembled system Number Two following those two men. It became the world’ example of the system of exploitation of labor.

The Kings of England captured thousands of indigent “misfits” or the refuse of English society and sent them to the American colonies. They became slave labor for the Boston Brahmin class in this country. They were the children of poor familes (which always exist under the system of labor explitation) religious non-conformists, and highlanders from Scotland whose lands the English nobility wanted.

Those two systems have always existed and have been in constant conflict with each other for thousands of years. It will be the purpose of this issue to describe the history and the biblical Principles involved. This conflict of the ages, so to speak, began in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve and has been relentless every since.

What does all of this mean? For us to understand the era, or period of time in which we are now living. We must first understand the philosophy of thought now predominant in our society. The social life of our current society is forced to think in terms solely of the economics of our collective lives. Every situation of our life is relegated to materialism. Karl Marx taught materialsim. To Marx everything must be thought of in terms of economics, revealed in both class and self-interest. We are forced to think in terms of the Spanish phrase, Vica-Yo, transliterated as meaning, “Hurrah for me-me first!”

So now, the United States has degenerated from the greatness of those “golden years” to System Two where we exploit labor and live with viva-yo. We are now considered “collectivists.” What is good for one is good for all. We are all peas in a pod and we are all to look, dress, and act alike. The current rage is the “Team Concpet” which comes to us from Japan. Most all corporations now use this system. It was started in this country by Robert Strange McNamara when he was Secretary of Defense during the Vietnam era.

Prior to McNamara, this country had the “Project Manager” concept. Whenever a problem existed in the development of any system, the Project Manager convened the proper men and the problem was promptly solved. The development then proceeded from that point. But with the advent of the Team Concept which McNamara called the “Critical Point Review Team,” a problem resulted in a Critical Point Review meaning such meetings would cause the entire project to return to the starting point. It was a terrible waste of money and time. For example, it took only four years to develop, produce and field the Nike Hercules system. That system was the finest air defense system in the enjtire world. The next development of air defense systems was the Patriot system. It took eighteen yers to devlop the Patriot system with the “Team Concept.”

The mental depression caused by this “collectivist” concept was unbearble to the western mind. The engineering teams working under these conditions became known as “Heart Attack Alley!” Simply stated, the western mind must have the freedoms of creativity, expresison and effort. He must be able to see, hear and touch the finished product of his efforts.

Western man is so easily led astary! (That is why Christ calls us His sheep) The smooth talk of the great deceivers can make us believe anything with their lies. In 2 Peter 2:1-3, we read:

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that brought them and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many sahll follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”

When we have a good, comfortable home, adequately furnished, a beautiful family being trained in the way of the Lord, teaching them a good and honest work ethic, we are happy. But, no, we are told that we can have more!

Njearly all of us can remember the 1960s. Thsoe were the years of open defiance to any and all authority. Those were the “free-love” years, the beginning of the sexually oriented music, the Humanist Manifesto, etc. Constantly blaring on the radios and the then “new-fangled” TV were heard the deceiving suggestions that the wife and mother of the family could work, “just two afternoons each week” and be able to buy that new living room sofa or a new carpet. “And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of .” Any family who resisted was made out to be strange and backward.

Surely as morning follows the night, they deceived us into the concept where the wife and mother works, first, two afternoons a week and then, finally, five whole days each week. “Just put the chidlren in day-care facilities, conveniently operated under the watchful eye of the government. “And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you.” Now, we are slaves to the system, each one of us at all of his neighbor’s throats, just trying to put food on the table. “Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their ddamnation slumbereth not.” Yes, we are captured just like the poor people of England were following Oliver Cromwell.

The Bible is the story of that confluct between the two systems. It started in the story of the Garden of Eden. It was “through coveiousness...and feigned words make merchandise of you” that the serpent (a person, not a snake!) Beguiled Eve along with Adam who was with her, into slandering and making mockery fo the Laws of God.

An explanation of this is in order. The passage of Genesis 3:1-6 is from an Akkadian idiom and must be understood as such. The Akkadian language is from the Akkad Dynasty of Mesopotamia (2350-2150 B.C.) The tree in the middle of the garden is the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That represents the Laws of God. The word “eat” in the Akkadian means to slander and mock those Laws! Ancient Hebrew was derived from the Akkadian and Ugaritic languages.

Before they “ate” of that tree of knowledge of good and evil, Adamic man was a little children, “naked” to the evils which were to befall him. After the fall, we became “clothed” and have had to constantly protect ourselves from those who teach “pernicious ways” (physical spiritual or eternal ruin or loss)

Yes, it began with Adam and Eve. To further the antiquity of this battle we are living with today, we need to discuss the life of Abraham. The story of this man’s origins and why he was chosen by God gives us the relationship between economic forces, social life and history as we understand it.

It has long been known that the hrea between th eeuphraties and Tigris Rivers is called the “cradle of civilization.” It extended from the Eastern shores of the mediterranean Sea (at Ugarit) to the mouth of the rifvers as they emptied into the Persian Gulf. It was in that area where all of our economic, social and political problems developed.

After the regional flood of Noah’s time (which is a lesson in itself and will not be covered here), the Mesopotamian area was again populated. Genesis, Chapter Ten tells us about this.  The word “Earth” in this passage is clearly defined in the word study books as a regional term. And the people once again retured to their old ways.

Chapter Eleven of course, is the story of the Tower of Babel. This is mot significant to our modern problems and God keeps telling us over and over that He doesn’t approve. Well just what is it that is the major problem? If we could just solve that, the rest should quickly follow.

The entire area of Mesopotania developed a commercial code which made merchandise of people and enslaved them. The following information comes from Professor Cyrus II. Gordon’s book “The common Background of Greek and Hebrew Civilizations,” Norton & Co., New York, 1965, ISBN 0 393 002934.

Hammarapi was the sixth king of the old Babylonian dynasty. His empire reached otu into the Aegean, Asia Minor, Crete and Egypt. His conquests did not take the form of military conquests but rather of commerical expansionism. That, sad to say, is exactly what is happening today.

The addition to the trading colonies, there were mobile traders who went abroad on itinerant or short-term missions. Hammurapi’s Code (#103) regulated relationships betweent he business enterpreneur (tankarum) and the “Tamkorum” himself conducted business personally in a foreign territory, where, in addition to looking after his own business, he had to attend to wider Babylonaian interests as the occasion might demand. Thus, for example, he had to redeem Babylonians in exile so that they could be repariated. Law #32 required the “tamkarum” to advance the ransom for repatriating captive Babylonian soldiers.

“The ‘tamkorum’ also spread business methods. The seeds of the capitalist system were produced in Mesopotamia and sown throughout the ancient world by the ‘tankarum’ and their successors. The most fundamental part of a capitalistic economy is the encouragement of capital investment by the payment of interest.

The Hittites followed the Assyro-Babylonian precedent of sending merchants abroad. The Hittite kings sponsored merchants plyint their trade in Canaan. Documents of Hattusili III have been found in Ugarit, regulating the activities of his merchants there. Complaints had been lodged against the merchants for their undue exploitation of Ugarit. Accordingly, Hattsili forbade his mercants to acquire Ugantic realestate.”

Abraham was born in the middle of this system. It is almost certain taht he was born in the Haran/Urfa area of the Ur of the Chaldees. He was classified as a merchant/prince and conducted business in the Chaldees during the Hittite reign. Because of the “diplomotic pouches” containing huge sums of money which these tamkorums were required to carry, they each had their own private army. Those were the circumstances when Abraham rescued Lot from the kignappers.

Melchizedek, King of Salem, blessed Abraham, not only for carrying out the judgment against the kings of Sodom and Gemorrah for kidnapping Lot and his family but for something else. Abraham was an honest merchant and would not make merchandise of another persson. He refused the gifts Melchizedek offered him. Those acts set Abraham apart form both the Babylonians and the Hittites. The lesosn there is for us to follow.

We cannot underestimate the importance of picking this one man, Abraham, from the multitudes around him. The entire world, people and nations known and unknown at the time, would be for evermore changed because God picked out this one man for a purpose.

The question ebfore the wrold at the time was “Who was the One True Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Everlasting God of the universe?” This question, from the historical perspective, is much more complicated than we can imagine. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” But that question still reverberates around the world and it is not “all fulfilled” yet. We do nove another god all around us, called the Baal system, and it is so easy to be “seduced.” Can one possibly think that the followers of other gods, would go down without a fight?

There in Mesopotamia, the Near East and Asia Minor, many different gods sprang up depending on the whims of the kings in power at the time. The divine worship of kings and queens was prevalent. Objects, or idols, were worshipped along with the royalty. But it was in the region of Akkad, Ugarit and Babylon where the omnipotence of two systems, and their gods, remains the primary question for all the people on earth.

Those two systems, represented by their economics, law, politics and military prowess are, (1) Baal and (2) our God of the Holy Bible. That is the great question which is gnawing within the hearts of our people that has caused this huge feeling of despression so prominent in today’s society. We feel forced to work, live and even sometimes worship in a Baal system. We know that it is not right. The history of our forefathers proves to us tthat what we have today is not right. We feel trapped just like a lion or tiger in a cage in some zoo. They feed them drugs, too, to keep them quiet!

The Pagan gods, Murdok and Baal, ahve been with us from the earliest of times since Babylonia was founded. It is beleived by some that “dualism” comes form the East. It has been anthropologically proven that dualism comes from ancient Babylon. It represents the battle between good and evil and their respective gods.

Once upon a time, before Abraham, Israel and Jesus, Baal represented the “all-powerful good” god. Of course, there were many gods but they were all udner Baal. The point to be considered at this juncture is that it was the system of economics, law, politics and military prowess.

The economic of Baal is capitalism as we now know it. The law in the Baal system is dualistic and everything is a shade of grey (Talmudism). Politics in the Baal system is money driven and has nothing to do with the republicanism of the Bible. The military prowess in the Baal system is raw power and death to anyone who refuses to obey Baal.

Evil changes to good and good changes to evil, depending on which god your worship. One of the most revealing finds in scientific (as compared to politically correct) anthropology is what Professor Cyrus H. Gordon reports. He writes:

“Culture cannot be transmitted through abstract processes without human agency. Only people can carry culture, and cultural fission results from the mingling of different groups of people.”

That takes time. That is the reason for what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 6:14-18:

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness and waht communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

Notice that Paul referred to dualism when he said “light versus darkness” and “what concord thath Christ with Belial.” The major theme of the Bible is that fight with Baal. Since we are to be the “sons and daughters saith the Lord Almighty” we, too, must fight the Baal system. The Baal system uses money as the yardstick to success. We must not let that be our guide because “The love of money is the root of all evil.” (1 Timothy 6:10) Think about it. Do you know of a person who has huge sums of money who is not depressed? They all are.

When is the logical sequence to a person who has consumed his life seeking a huge fortune? The ultimate success for them is power - raw, brutal power over other people. That is how mercenary armies are formed and we can say unequivocably that every army of the Western nations is bought and paid for by those with indefinable sumes of money.

That is the reason why, at this very time in the United states, men who are entering into the military are asked the question:

“Would you shoot your own parents if commanded to do so?”

Those who answer in th eaffirmative remain in this coungtry to defend that moneyed class. Those who answer in the negative, are sent overseas where they would be more willing to shoot the parents of others.

The Akkad Dynasty of King Sargon I was under the system of Baal. Money, again in huge quantities, was used for Sargon to conquer everything in his paty. It has been named in history as the epic of the “King of Battle.” Military planners down through history have used ia sa a guide.

When portions of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin were captured by King Nebuchadnezzer and taken to Babylon they came into direct contact with the teachings and power of the Baal system. The Baal system had remained intact down through the centuries. It remained a fabulously wealthy city, the Capital of “The Cradle of Civilization.” All of the glitter of the system of economics and law was too much for Judah and Benjamin. They accepted that system, and just as so many otherwise good Christian people accept it today. When that limited number returned to Jerusalem, they were totally trained and dedicated to the Baal system. Christianity and Baal cannot exist side by side.

Anyone who follows and teaches the Baal system of economics and law, cannot understand the Chritian system. The term Judeo-Christianity is a crutch in an attempt to bridge that vast gap between Christ and Baal. The Biblical principles is found in 1 Kings 18:21:

“And Elijah came unto all the people, and said. How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” Governments today still have our Baal system of economics and government.

The battle still rages, perhaps stronger today than ever before because of the technology. But Christ is still here and He will be here when the dust settles. History ahs also shown that the moneyed class, with all of its seemingly omnipotent Baal power, has been successfully overthrown repeatedly by the simple teachings of Jesus Christ.

We will give a curksory overview of historical events which have occurred which shows the faith of Christianity and the desire of chtristians to live a Godly life, to be left alone in peace and to be removed from the Baal system.

The first example in history happened shortly after the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Joseph of Arimathaea, the uncle and God=father of Christ, took a small band of the followers of Christ to the area of Glastonbury in england. Joseph knew this area very well because he owned tin mines there from which he sold tin to the roman Empire. The area around Glastonbury was developed into a Christian community and expanded into the entire Southwestern part of England and Wales. This is well documented and the best source of information on this history is from Covenant Media Productions, P.O. 1497, Thousand Oaks, CA 91358. (Telephone No. (805) 491-0936)

The Roman empire was expanding into England. They came upon these men from Southwestern England and simply could not subdue them. This is what Julius Caesar wrote in his book “Gallic War,”

“They make the immortality of the soul the basis of all their teaching holding it to be the principal incentive and reason for a virtous life. Believing in the immortaly of the soul they were careless of death.”

Other Roman writers taught that that part of England “was inaccessable to the roman where Christ is taught.”

The Angles and Saxons of Germany entered into England and mixed with the established Kelts. That blend has become known as English. Their system of government, economics, law and belief in Christianity is also well documented.

There was a simple system. They had the government of Captains of Tens, Captians of Fifties and Captians of Hundreds. From that system they elected their king. He did not have kingship by right of birth; he was elected to lead his people.

They lived in communities of approximately 14-15 familes. Each tun, or town, was arranged in a wagon wheel layout with the meeting place in the center. The preacher would chair each meeting of town folks which would occur every two weeks. Each man would present himself with his weapons, which were the bow and spear. At these ecclesia, or called-out meetings, they would discuss the Word of God, along with essentials of community life. If there was a conflict anhywhere in their region, that would be discussed and acted upon if required. Illness and injuries in the group would also be discussed and appropriate care would be given. In other words, they acted as the Body of Chris. They owned their lands in alloidial title which means they owned it outright with no taxes to anybody. They had the work ethic and they did not make merchandise of labor.

That fight with the antichrists continued unabated. The followers of the Baal system wanted to add England to their vast empire. It is not the ownership that is important in the Baal system. It is control, Amshel Meyer Rothschild said:

“Give me the power to print the money and I care not who runs the government.”

William the Conqueror captured England in 1092 A.D., and he brought the baal system with him. The power behind William were his advisors and his money lenders. These advisors and money lenders created the world’s premiere Babylonish financial center in London. It’s still there and Baal power is spitting out its poison every day to the entire world.

We must understand this phenomenon; William the Conqueror, and his government were ostensibly Christian, just like Judeo-Christianity is today in this country. Baal doesn’t care what yo9u call your country or what you think your prominent religion is. Call it Judeo-Cbhristianity if you want just don’t call it Baal! That was the way it was in England.

The Christian community fought back and for the most part, they used Christian Principles doing it. It ended with the Magna Carta in 1215, “A brilliant document,” everyone says. But nothing happened! The Kings at the time did just like what is done in Washington today. They made “end runs” around the will of the people Baal was still there. Finally, the Christian community had enough of it. They ordered King Edward to expel the Baal money lenders 1290 A.D.

But that still didn’t destroy the Baal system in England. The governments of England have never rescinded that 1290 expulsion order but Oliver Cromwell simply brought them back in! The Christian people of England finally reaalized what Cromwell had done but not until after his death. They dug up his skeleton and hung his bones on a scaffold, just to show their resentment and disgust at that Baal system.

But Baal still retained its power. Because they were being oppressed for their beliefs, just like they are today. Christians fled to the colonies now known as the United States to escape the system. But King George III sent the system over here, along with his governors and troops to enforce it. If you read the Declaration of Independence carefully you will see the resentment and resistance to the Baal system.

The American Revolution was to be the end of Baal, as far as we were concerned. We won our freedom and we started a system which was very similar to the Saxon England before William the Conqueror. It has been said that not must minimum government, but no government except God’s Laws, is the only way that Christians can live in “The Way” which Christ taught. That is about the way it was during that short period in this newlyfounded country.

Our people lived in the rural areas, mainly because there were very few cities of any size. They surrounded their little towns which had a store, a mercantile, a blacksmith shop, a doctor and a hardware store. Some of these little communities didn’th ave minister. Circuit rider preachrs would make their rounds, marryiing, baptizing and conducting services when possible. Each hom provided for their own worship and Bible lessons. They worked on the labor sharing plan where the farmers would help each other with manily the harvesting. Each family was able to accomplish the rest of the farm duties.

School was provided with the famous little one-room schoolhouse. One teacher provided the lessons for all of the grades and the older children helped teach the younger ones. It became a world famous system with some of America’s best minds coming from just such a system. The famous Mcguffey Readers were common to all of these small schools, along with Noah Webster’s dictionary.

Law, as such, was practically non-existent. God’s Laws were the rule of law and His Judgments were carried out whtih precision. There was the sheriff but he didn’t have much to do except to muster help in times of fires, tornados and floods. The majority of Americans never knew of murders, rapes or thefts. There were no street gangs marauding around looking for loot.

The Baal system followed. That system brught to these peaceful towns their “Philadelphis Lawyers” who brought with themt heir bag of Baal, Talmudic laws. Most people would just pack up and move further West!

We will use the Medieval period in Eyurope as the last example of fighting the Baal system. It was the most powerful example of what happens when Christians exert themselves in support of Christ’s values.

We are taking this information from the July-August, 2000 issue of The Barnes Review. We will be taking excerpts from the article “Rescuing Medievalism” by Dr. Rafael Johnson to make our final point in our argument against the Baal system.

Modern education, including court historians, consider the medieval period in Europe as something to shun, a period between ancient antiquity and the Renaissance Dr. Johnson wrote:

“The medieval world was one not ‘dar,’ as the propagandists would have it, not an ill-defined ‘middle age’ of history, but a vibrant moral and progressive era with a strong contribution to make to the modern and contemporary world. It was a era of extraordinary moral idealism. It was an age of political decentralization, a strong separation and balance of power and contained an objective and rational morality based on natural law; all of which was lot with the dawn of modernity and the rise of subjectivism.”

Subjectivism as Dr. Johnson is using it means the ethical doctrine that the supreme good comes form some form of subjective feeling, usually pleasure. That subjective f
