I am presenting this entire chapter because it is necessary so that you may see what Yahweh is really saying. For He is talking to two different people and swings back and forth. This will be shown as we go through the verses.

1). Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

2). My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

3). Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

4). He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Now see how Yahweh shifts to the other people, whom we believe to be the jews before they were known as jews.

5). THEY HAVE CORRUPTED THEMSELVES, THEIR SPOT IS NOT THE SPOT OF HIS CHILDREN: THEY ARE A PERVERSE AND CROOKED GENERATION.

6). Do ye thus requite the LORD, O FOOLISH PEOPLE AND UNWISE? IS NOT HE THY FATHER THAT HATH BOUGHT THEE? HATH HE NOT MADE THEE, AND ESTABLISHED THEE?

This appears to be talking about where Yahshua said that the jews were the children of the devil in John 8:44. Then Yahweh shifts back to talking about His Israel people. Do you see that?

7). Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

8). When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

9). For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

10). He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

11). As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

12). So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

13). He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;

14). Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.

15). But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

Now Yahweh is speaking again to these other people, which we believe to be jews.

16). THEY PROVOKED HIM TO JEALOUSY WITH STRANGE GODS, WITH ABOMINATIONS PROVOKED THEY HIM TO ANGER.

17). THEY SACRIFICED UNTO DEVILS, NOT TO GOD; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

18). Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

19). AND WHEN THE LORD SAW IT, HE ABHORRED THEM, BECAUSE OF THE PROVOKING OF HIS SONS, AND OF HIS DAUGHTERS.

Now Yahweh shifts back to these other people whom we believe to be the jews.

20). And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for THEY ARE A VERY FROWARD GENERATION, CHILDREN IN WHOM IS NO FAITH.

Now He shifts back to speaking about His Israel people.

21), THEY HAVE MOVED ME TO JEALOUSY WITH THAT WHICH IS NOT GOD; THEY HAVE PROVOKED ME TO ANGER WITH THEIR VANITIES: and I WILL MOVE THEM TO JEALOUSY WITH THOSE WHICH ARE NOT A PEOPLE; I WILL PROVOKE THEM TO ANGER WITH A FOOLISH NATION.

The Judeo-Christian clergy will say this is speaking of Israel because Yahweh is speaking about a people who are no people. Making reference to what Yahweh says about the House of Israel AFTER He divorces them. But this is long before that time, and Yahweh has not divorced them. Therefore, He must be speaking of some others who are not a people.

22). For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

23). I WILL HEAP MISCHIEFS UPON THEM; I WILL SPEND MINE ARROWS UPON THEM.

24). THEY SHALL BE BURNT WITH HUNGER, AND DEVOURED WITH BURNING HEAT, AND WITH BITTER DESTRUCTION: I WILL ALSO SEND THE TEETH OF BEASTS UPON THEM, WITH THE POISON OF SERPENTS OF THE DUST.

25). THE SWORD WITHOUT, AND TERROR WITHIN, SHALL DESTROY BOTH THE YOUNG MAN AND THE VIRGIN, THE SUCKLING ALSO WITH THE MAN OF GRAY HAIRS.

26). I SAID, I WOULD SCATTER THEM INTO CORNERS, I WOULD MAKE THE REMEMBRANCE OF THEM TO CEASE FROM AMONG MEN:

This Yahweh has never done, nor will He ever do to the Children of Israel. Therefore, He is speaking of the destruction of the Jews and the enemies of His Israel people in the last days. Yahweh is again speaking to and about the jews.

27). Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this.

28). For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.

29). O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

30). How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?

31). FOR THEIR ROCK IS NOT AS OUR ROCK, EVEN OUR ENEMIES THEMSELVES BEING JUDGES.

32). FOR THEIR VINE IS OF THE VINE OF SODOM, AND OF THE FIELDS OF GOMORRAH: THEIR GRAPES ARE GRAPES OF GALL, THEIR CLUSTERS ARE BITTER:

33). THEIR WINE IS THE POISON OF DRAGONS, AND THE CRUEL VENOM OF ASPS.

34). Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?

35). To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

Now Yahweh goes back to talking about His Israel people.

36). For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

Again Yahweh goes back to talking about the jews.

37). And he shall say, WHERE ARE THEIR GODS, THEIR ROCK IN WHOM THEY TRUSTED,

38). WHICH DID EAT THE FAT OF THEIR SACRIFICES, AND DRANK THE WINE OF THEIR DRINK OFFERINGS? LET THEM RUSE UP AND HELP YOU, AND BE YOUR PROTECTION.

Now Yahweh is speaking of Himself.

39). See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

40). For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.

Yahweh speaks of His vengeance upon His and Israels enemies.

41). If I WHET MY GLITTERING SWORD, AND MINE HAND TAKE HOLD ON JUDGMENT; I WILL RENDER VENGEANCE TO MINE ENEMIES, AND WILL REWARD THEM THAT HATE ME.

Who, except the Jews, hate Yahweh. It certianly is not His Israel people, therefore, it can be only one people, the jews.

42). I WILL MAKE MINE ARROWS DRUNK WITH BLOOD, AND MY SWORD SHALL DEVOUR FLESH; AND THAT WITH THE BLOOD OF THE SLAIN AND OF THE CAPTIVES, FROM THE BEGINNING OF REVENGES UPON THE ENEMY.

Here again, we would point out that this could only be speaking of the Jews for no where in the Scriptures are any other people mentioned as the enemies of Yahweh except the Jews.

43). Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

44). And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.

45). And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:

46). And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.

47). For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

48). And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,

49). Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:

50). And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:

51). Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah‑kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

52). Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel. (Deuteronomy 32:1-52)

These verses are taken from the different prophets where they are speaking of the Jews. Some of them are easy to see and understand others are not because the translators either didnt know the difference or chose not to notice. We already know from study that the Kenites (one branch of the Jews) have added and changed some scriptures to make it harder to understand and some just plain lies.

WOE TO THE REBELLIOUS CHILDREN, saith the LORD, THAT TAKE COUNSEL, BUT NOT OF ME; AND THAT COVER WITH A COVERING, BUT NOT OF MY SPIRIT, THAT THEY MAY ADD SIN TO SIN...THEY WERE ALL ASHAMED OF A PEOPLE THAT COULD NOT PROFIT THEM, NOR BE AN HELP NOR PROFIT, BUT A SHAME, AND ALSO A REPROACH. The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, THE VIPER AND FIERY FLYING SERPENT, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them...NOW GO, WRITE IT BEFORE THEM IN A TABLE, AND NOTE IT IN A BOOK, THAT IT MAY BE FOR THE TIME TO COME FOR EVER AND EVER: THAT THIS IS A REBELLIOUS PEOPLE, LYING CHILDREN, CHILDREN THAT WILL NOT HEAR THE LAW OF THE LORD: WHICH SAY TO THE SEERS, SEE NOT; AND TO THE PROPHETS, PROPHESY NOT UNTO US RIGHT THINGS, SPEAK UNTO US SMOOTH THINGS, PROPHESY DECEITS: GET YOU OUT OF THE WAY, TURN ASIDE OUT OF THE PATH, CAUSE THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL TO CEASE FROM BEFORE US. Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit. For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: AND YE WOULD NOT. BUT YE SAID, NO; FOR WE WILL FLEE UPON HORSES; THEREFORE SHALL YE FLEE: AND, WE WILL RIDE UPON THE SWIFT; THEREFORE SHALL THEY THAT PURSUE YOU BE SWIFT. One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill...AND THOUGH THE LORD GIVE YOU THE BREAD OF ADVERSITY, AND THE WATER OF AFFLICTION, YET SHALL NOT THY TEACHERS BE REMOVED INTO A CORNER ANY MORE, BUT THINE EYES SHALL SEE THY TEACHERS: AND THINE EARS SHALL HEAR A WORD BEHIND THEE, SAYING, THIS IS THE WAY, WALK YE IN IT, WHEN YE TURN TO THE RIGHT HAND, AND WHEN YE TURN TO THE LEFT. YE SHALL DEFILE ALSO THE COVERING OF THY GRAVEN IMAGES OF SILVER, AND THE ORNAMENT OF THY MOLTEN IMAGES OF GOLD: THOU SHALT CAST THEM AWAY AS A MENSTRUOUS CLOTH; THOU SHALT SAY UNTO IT, GET THEE HENCE. (Isaiah 30:1-22)

In the following we can clearly see that Jeremiah is talking about the Israelites, the good figs, and the Jews, the bad figs. And what will happen to the two. Notice also that these figs were placed BEFORE THE TEMPLE AFTER THE BABYLONANS HAD TAKEN THEIR CAPTIVES TO BABYLON.

 Jeremiah 24

The LORD shewed me, and, behold, TWO BASKETS OF FIGS WERE SET BEFORE THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD, AFTER THAT Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon HAD CARRIED AWAY CAPTIVE Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. ONE BASKET HAD VERY GOOD FIGS, even like the figs that are first ripe: and THE OTHER BASKET HAD VERY NAUGHTY FIGS (this is the jews), WHICH COULD NOT BE EATEN, THEY WERE SO BAD Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; THE GOOD FIGS, VERY GOOD; AND THE EVIL, VERY EVIL, THAT CANNOT BE EATEN, THEY ARE SO EVIL. Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good. For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up. And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. And AS THE EVIL FIGS, WHICH CANNOT BE EATEN, THEY ARE SO EVIL...AND THE RESIDUE OF JERUSALEM, THAT REMAIN IN THIS LAND, AND THEM THAT DWELL IN THE LAND OF EGYPT: And I WILL DELIVER THEM TO BE REMOVED INTO ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE EARTH FOR THEIR HURT, TO BE A REPROACH AND A PROVERB, A TAUNT AND A CURSE, IN ALL PLACES WHITHER I SHALL DRIVE THEM. And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

At first it would appear that Jeremiah is talking about the tribe of Judah, True Israelites, but as we read further we see that Yahweh is talking about the Jews, Edom and the others that are the Israelites enemies; then, just as they are today.

THE WORD THAT CAME TO JEREMIAH CONCERNING ALL THE PEOPLE OF JUDAH in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; The which JEREMIAH THE PROPHET SPAKE UNTO all the people of Judah, and TO ALL THE INHABITANTS OF JERUSALEM, saying, From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I HAVE SPOKEN UNTO YOU, RISING EARLY AND SPEAKING; BUT YE HAVE NOT HEARKENED. And THE LORD HATH SENT UNTO YOU ALL HIS SERVANTS THE PROPHETS, RISING EARLY AND SENDING THEM; BUT YE HAVE NOT HEARKENED, NOR INCLINED YOUR EAR TO HEAR. They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever: And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. YET YE HAVE NOT HEARNENED UNTO ME, SAITH THE LORD; THAT YE MIGHT PROVOKE ME TO ANGER WITH THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS TO YOUR OWN HURT. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; BECAUSE YE HAVE NOT HEARD MY WORDS, BEHOLD, I WILL SEND AND TAKE ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE NORTH...EDOM, AND MOAB, and the children of Ammon...HOWL, YE SHEPHERDS (Yes there were false shepherds in that day, just as they are today), AND CRY; AND WALLOW YOURSELVES IN THE ASHES, YE PRINCIPAL OF THE FLOCK: FOR THE DAYS OF YOUR SLAUGHTER AND OF YOUR DISPERSIONS ARE ACCOMPLISHED; AND YE SHALL FALL LIKE A PLEASANT VESSEL. And THE SHEPHERDS SHALL HAVE NO WAY TO FLEE, NOR THE PRINCIPAL OF THE FLOCK TO ESCAPE. A VOICE OF THE CRY OF THE SHEPHERDS, AND AN HOWLING OF THE PRINCIPAL OF THE FLOCK, SHALL BE HEARD: for the LORD hath spoiled their pasture. And the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of the LORD. He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.

 Jeremiah 26

In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying, Thus saith the LORD; (Jeremiah) STAND IN THE COURT OF THE LORDS HOUSE, AND SPEAK UNTO ALL THE CITIES OF JUDAH, WHICH COME TO WORSHIP IN THE LORDS HOUSE, ALL THE WORDS THAT I COMMAND THEE TO SPEAK UNTO THEM... Now IT CAME TO PASS, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that THE PRIESTS AND THE PROPHETS AND ALL THE PEOPLE TOOK HIM, SAYING, THOU SHALT SURELY DIE. (This is exactly what the Jews did to Christ, and then they took Him before Pilate) Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD. When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king's house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house. THEN SPAKE THE PRIESTS AND THE PROPHETS UNTO THE PRINCES AND TO ALL THE PEOPLE, SAYING, THIS MAN IS WORTHY TO DIE; FOR HE HATH PROPHESIED AGAINST THIS CITY, AS YE HAVE HEARD WITH YOUR EARS. (The same thing the Jews said about Christ when they brought Him before him in John 18:30) Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard. Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you. As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you. But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears. THEN SAID THE PRINCES AND ALL THE PEOPLE UNTO THE PRIESTS AND TO THE PROPHETS; THIS MAN IS NOT WORTHY TO DIE: FOR HE HATH SPOKEN TO US IN THE NAME OF THE LORD OUR GOD...NEVERTHELESS THE HAND OF AHIKAM THE SON OF SHAPHAN WAS WITH JEREMIAH, THAT THEY SHOULD NOT GIVE HIM INTO THE HAND OF THE PEOPLE TO PUT HIM TO DEATH (Jeremiah 24:1-10; 25:1-38; 26:1-24)
