John 5:46

46: For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Yet we know from the following that David did not descend from Judah, but from Ephraim:

1 Samuel 17:12

12: Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehem Judah, whose name was Jesse; and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul.

Therefore, Mary the mother of Christ, and Joseph Christ�s step father, were of Ephraim and not Judah. Therefore, Christ could not have been a jew by any stretch of the imagination.
