What Kind of a Garden was Eden?
The Garden of Eden was not a plantation of ordinary trees and shrubs. God did nothing so foolish as to make a special creation, just to have a man to wield shovel and pruning shears, when He already had millions of pre-Adamite peoples available for that sort of work. We are told that the Garden of Eden contained "the tree of the knowledge (or experience) of good and evil". No tree of the forest has any knowledge or experience of either good or evil. And Ezekiel 31 says: "Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon, with fair branches and a shadowing bough, and of a high stature;....Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long. . . all the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations. . . THE CEDARS IN THE GARDEN OF GOD COULD not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; NOR ANY TREE IN THE GARDEN OF GOD WAS LIKE UNTO HIM IN HIS BEAUTY. I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: SO THAT ALL THE TREES OF EDEN, THAT WERE DI THE GARDEN OF GOD ENVIED HIM". Obviously, the trees in the Garden of God in Eden were "family trees" of races and nations, who admired and envied the early Assyrian Empire. These made up the "garden" that Adam was to cultivate. That is, Satan had been what we might call the Superintendent of this planet, to rule it in obedience to God's will, until he for-feited that position by rebellion against God. Adam was sent to take his place. It was Adam's job to rule the various nations and races of the earth as God's representative here, educating them in God's laws, and enforcing obedience to those laws. These other races and nations had been here long before Adam .
Therefore, the Bible makes it unmistakably clear that we are not all descended from Adam and Eve, for there were other races on earth, already old, already numerous, when Adam was formed. And among these other races there are those who are simply pre-Adamic; and one, at least, which is Satanic.
The seed of the Serpent
If you will read the third chapter of Genesis, you will notice that, immediately after the Fall of Adam, when God required them to answer what they had done, God condemned Satan. As we mentioned earlier, the word mistranslated "serpent" is the Hebrew word "nachash", which literally means "enchanter" or "magician". . . and, no doubt Satan, still possessing angelic powers, was able to be an enchanter or magician. It is certain that the one who seduced Eve was no mere scaly snake wriggling along the ground. Yes, the word is "seduced", for that is what Eve admitted, in the original Hebrew. Cain was the son of that seduction. The Bible uses the word "begat" with monotonous regularity; but the first time the Bible ever says that Adam "begat" anyone is Genesis 5:3, where it says, "And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image (meaning: having the spirit of God within): and called his name Seth". But to get back to Genesis 3:15. . . God said to Satan, "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between THY SEED AND HER SEED. " The same Hebrew word for "seed" is used in both cases; Satan was to have just as literal "seed", or descendants, as Eve. God's own word being pledged to this, we must expect to find it actually happening; and we do.
Cain and Abel were Twin Half-Brothers
Therefore, as early as Gen. 3, we have the first prophecy of Christ, who was of the seed of the woman, because he was born into the Adamic Race (Luke 3:23_38). True to this prophecy, the seed of Satan did bruise the Christs' heel, on the Cross. When Christ returns to take His throne, He will definitely bruise and crush the head of the Satanic rulers of this world. Emmity did occur between these twin half-brothers, born of the same mother but not of the same father. Gen. 4:1 tells us that Adam "knew" his wife and she conceived. True, she did conceive Abel, whom Matt. 23:35 calls "righteous", but she had already conceived by Satan and was carrying his seed as well, in the person of Cain, I John 3:12. Do not think that this is impossible, because medical practitioners know that though these cases are rare, they do happen. The writer, personally knows of just such a case although there is one difference; the children were con-ceived two months apart, by the same man.
Gen. 4:2 tells us that Eve bore Abel imme- diately after she bore Cain because there is no mention of another conception. Also in Gen. 4:3-4 we read that Cain and Abel brought their offerings to Yahveh, God almighty, at the same time, which indicates they were of the same age. Now, since Cain brought only the fruit of the ground for his first offering to Yahveh, it is readily discernible that he did not have the spiritual insight of the pure Adamic seed which Abel had, for Abel brought of the firstlings of his flock and the fat thereof, In other words, Abel sacrificed the first of the flock to Yahveh (Reference the Lost Books of the Bible and the Forgotten Books of Eden. . . World Publishing Co. ) to foreshadow the coming of "The Lamb of God", who was Christ, sacrificed for the redemption of the Adamic Race. Cain did not understand this, because he was not an Adamic "spirit-man" and this ritual of the sacrifice could only be spiritually discerned. Cain did not have what it took to be acceptable to Yahveh and in Gen. 4:5 we see that Yahveh had no respect for Cain's offering. Following that, Yahveh tells Cain that sin lies at the door, and that sin was the original sin of Eve when she was seduced by Satan or the Enchanter." In Gen. 4:8 the Bible tells us Cain killed his half-brother Abel, but why? Because he (Cain) was of his Father, the wicked one (I John 3:12) and Abel was the righteous seed of Adam, therefore the enmity that Yahveh put between the two seeds came into play and we have the first great act of violence in our Bible, This enmity between Satan's Seed and the seed of Yahveh's family in the Earth is carried on throughout the Bible.
Since most "New Testament Christians" value only the New Testament as the "latest authority" let us refer to the following passages which certainly provide ample testimony from irrefutable sources: St. Luke 11:47-51, St. John 8:37-44, I John 3:12, Ephesians 6:11-12. There should be no doubt what-so-ever that from the beginning of the Adamic Race, Satan or "The Wicked One" and his offspring have been and still are the temptation and the rod of chastisement of God's chosen people who are the righteous of the world. But let us continue further. No other child of Eve is mentioned until the birth of Seth, when Adam was 130 (230 years -Septuagint) long after the birth of Cain and Abel, which most scholars say was over 100 years earlier. Yet, when Cain killed Abel, and in punishment was driven out of the land, he complained to God that "anyone that findeth me shall slay me" (4: 14). Upon being sent away, Cain found many other people, for Genesis 4:17 records that Cain not only married a wife, but built a city. These were the pre-Adamite races, mentioned in the latter part of Genesis 1.
Cain and his Descendents
The Bible does not carry Cain's genealogy beyond Gen. 4:24, but we see them again in Deut. 13:13 where in the exodus from Egypt there was a mixed multitude (Ex. 12:38) and among them were the sons of Belial (Satan) leading the sons of Yahveh astray. Again, ages later, in John 8:37-44 Christ tells the Pharisees they are offspring of Satan (Devil) and they could not hear His voice because He spoke the Truth. The Devil's children cannot understand the truth, because their father was a murderer and a liar from the beginning. This proves that the scribes and Pharisees to whom Christ was speaking, were literal descendents of Satan through Cain.
Even our great Apostle Paul who knew about the children of the Devil, in Acts 13:6-10, asks how long they would continue to pervert the ways of Christ? The very best summation of the Christian position versus the Satanic position lies in II Cor. 6:15-16. This scripture tells us that we, who are of Christ, have no part with those who are of Belial (Satan. . .. See Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, Greek Dictionary) because we are the temple of the living God who is Yahveh and we are his people.
In Matthew 13:38-39, explaining the Parable of the Tares Among the Wheat, Jesus says, "The field is the world; the good seed are the children the Kingdom: but the Tares are the children of the wicked one: the enemy that sowed them is the Devil". Again, John 6:70-71, Jesus had been talking with His 12 disciples, and we read: "Jesus answered them; 'Have not I chosen you twelve and ONE OF YOU IS A DEVIL?' He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray Him being one of the twelve. " And again, you should read carefully the eighth chapter of John entirely, where Jesus told those who hated Him, "Ye are of your father, the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. " He was not being vulgarly abusive, in either of these cases, for He never resorted to name-calling for abuse. He did call some of them "hypocrites". . .which they truly were, so His statement was precisely accurate; He did call some of them "serpents, children of vipers". . . which, again, was accurate. Long before this, they had adopted the serpent as a symbol of Satan: that is why their tradition had given the word "nachash" (pronounced naw-khash) the translation "serpent", when it really means "enchanter".
Jesus, therefore, was telling them that they were of their father the devil (or serpent if they preferred that word). In this He was simply stating a biological fact with scientific precision, and identifying the persons of this ancestry.
Whenever someone tells you that the Bible is in conflict with what modern science has proved true, don't you believe it. The things that many preachers teach are in conflict with scientific truth, as we all know; but these preachers are equally in conflict with the Bible. Go back to the Bible, not to any man-made doctrines; and double-check it for accuracy of translation. You will find that what the Bible really says, in its original languages, is accurate with a precision our scientists have yet to achieve.
